Once the last Backup code is used the Backup codes feature will show as disabled, displaying the button “Set up” for the user to set up a new set of codes. With the new changes implemented, this means that MFA will essentially be disabled on the account and a message will pop up advising the user to set up the Backup codes. This can be observed in the image below.
