How to uninstall Cudo Miner and config files;
Windows:
- Go to apps & features, locate Cudo Miner app and click UNINSTALL.
- You will also need to remove the config folder this can be found in C:/ProgramData/Cudo Miner
- If you are unable to find the ProgramData folder you will need to unhide it, Microsoft has a guide here on how to show hidden folders.
Linux/CudoOS
Open the terminal and run the following commands;
- systemctl stop cudo-miner
- systemctl status cudo-miner
- apt-get --auto-remove purge cudo-miner-core cudo-miner-service cudo-miner-cli
- apt-get update
Step 1 & 2 are optional
OR
Simple run: sudo apt-get purge cudo*
and remove the following config folder: ~/.config/Cudo Miner , which is usually hidden by the file manager, you can usually unhide files in the settings for the system file manager.
MacOS
- Use Activity Monitor to remove everything the has Cudo-miner in front, eg cudo-miner, cudo-miner-core, etc.
- Then go to the Launchpad, right click on the Cudo Miner package and remove.
- Then a reboot is required to stop cudo-miner-core from loading
To reinstall Cudo Miner;
- Login to the web console and navigate to the connect a device section here (management > settings > connect a device) Follow the step by step instructions to download Cudo Miner for your required operating system.
